After getting a degree in psychology from the University of Florida, Taylor took a job at the state unemployment office. Seeing miserable people on both sides of the desk made him rethink his career plans. One fine art degree later, Taylor began his career as an art director at WestWayne Tampa, working on Toyota, Marriott and Denny's. In 2007, Taylor flipped to the west coast and became a Group Head at vitrorobertson where he worked on Asics, Newcastle Brown Ale, Taylor Guitars and IHOP. Taylor then made the move to BBDO Atlanta as a Creative Director for Bayer, HP, ToysRUs, and AT&T among others, but nary a pancake restaurant. A loyal and longtime agency creative, Taylor is now on the freelance market to re-energize his thinking with a larger set of diverse clients. He’s excited to delve into new categories and uncharted media with fresh faces.
